Team building di Pahang

Pada 8 Ogos 2024 pihak Bomba dan Penyelamat telah menganjurkan Program Team Building di Asia Camp Resort, Pahang  yang melibatkan beberapa agensi lain seperti Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), pasukan khas unit udara, Jabatan Perhutanan, Jabatan Perhilitan dan sebagainya. Mereka menginap di Resort kami selama 4hari 3malam. Seramai 150 orang telah menginap di Asia Camp. Resort kami didatangi tetamu Istimewa iaitu Dato’ Ir Ts Ahmad Izram bin Osman, Dato’ Haji Norazam bin Khamis, Dato’ Sharuddin bin Jali dan PPjB Md Gezani bin Md Ghazi. Mereka mula checkin seawal 2 petang. Pada jam 7.30 malam mereka mulakan dengan makan malam dengan juadah ayam goreng berlada, sweet sour dory fish dan gulai lemak terung serta pelbagai pencuci mulut (dessert). Dan malam itu juga mereka telah mengadakan meeting di dewaan besar resort kami.

Pada hari kedua mereka mula breakfast pada jam 7.30 pagi. Latihan pertama mereka anjurkan di resort kami ialah Latihan Komunikasi mengunakan Girn yang melibatkan Pusat Kawalan Operasi Bencana (PKOB) dan Pusat Kawalan Operasi Udara (PKOU). Mereka telah pecahkan kepada beberapa Kumpulan untuk aktiviti komunikasi dengan helicopter mengguakan girn. Latihan di bermula lebih kurang jam 9 pagi hingga 2 petang. Setelah itu mereka pulang ke resort untuk makan tengahari. Pada waktu petang mereka melakukan aktiviti sendiri. Pada jam 7.30 malam mereka makan malam dengan menu ayam masak lemak, ikan tongkal kicap dan sayur campur serta buah-buahan.

Pada 10 Ogos 2024, mereka semua sarapan pagi dengan bihun goreng, serta roti canai dan lain-lain lagi. Selepas itu mereka teruskan membuat Latihan yang berkaitan dengan bencana seperti SARS, banjir, kebakaran dan sebagainya. Latihan ini melibatkan udara, darat dan air. Mereka melakukan ini diluar resort kami. Helikopter berkeliaran di Kawasan Taman Negara. Selepas itu mereka pulang ke resort untuk makan tengahari kira-kira dalam jam 2 petang.

Pada malamnya mereka menganjurkan majlis penutup bertempat dewan besar Asia camp resort dengan kehadiran tetamu VIP serta jemputan pihak yang terlibat seperti ketua kampung, SAPURA, pihak SMKJPSHAS dan lain-lain lagi. Pihak resort kami menyediakan menu BBQ. Bukan itu kami juga turut ada akan persembahan nyanyian dari Kumpulan silara band. Ada juga anggota bomba turut bernyanyi. Para hadirin semua bergembira dengan persembahan yang ada. Mereka semua sangat menikmati juadah yang kami sediakan.

Pada malam tersebut ada juga yang mula checkout kerana mereka semua berada di luar Kawasan Taman Negara. Pada esokkan harinya mereka sarapan di dewan makan resort kami. Selepas itu para peserta mula checkout. Mereka semua pulang dengan gembira. Alhamdulliah pihak Asia Camp Resort tidak menerima apa-apa komen negative dari pihak penganjur.

Pendosa ini juga akan lebih mudah mempengaruhi pendosa yang lain untuk teruskan melakukan kesalahan tanpa merasa bersalah. Bagi mereka cukup apabila mempunyai kumpulan sokongan yang mempunyai masalah dan kesalahan yang sama. Jika dibiarkan mungkin akan menyebabkan prestasi kerja menurun, mencalarkan imej syarikat dan memberi masalah kepada pekerja serta organisasi.

Inilah cabaran utama seorang ketua di sebuah jabatan, tim atau organisasi mahu menjadi transformational leader. Bagaimana seorang ketua ini hendak menarik golongan pendosa supaya mereka mahu bersahabat dengan golongan baik-baik. Pastinya, sebagai seorang staf perlu mengikut undang-undang, peraturan SOP syarikat yang dikendalikan oleh jabatan pengurusan atau sumber manusia. Staf dan sahabatnya itu juga sudah tahu peranan sumber manusia yang bertanggungjawab ke atas pekerja sesebuah syarikat.

Apabila hukuman telah dikenakan seperti menerima surat tunjuk sebab, surat amaran dan sebagainga, anda tidak perlu bertanya tentang perkara tersebut. Pura-pura sahaja tidak mengetahuinya.

Ketua boleh diam sahaja dan melayani sahabat baiknya itu seperti biasa tanpa memberi nasihat, menegur dan bertanya tentang tindakan yang telah dikenakan terhadapnya. Dengan cara ini, staf yang juga sahabat itu tidak akan merasa rendah diri dan malu.

Seorang ketua yang mengetahui kedudukannya sebagai seorang pemimpin, tidak perlu meminta maaf kepada stafnya apabila dikenakan tindakan. Sekiranya tindakan sahabat itu perlu dikenakan hukuman seperti yang digariskan oleh syarikat, ia bukanlah menjadi kesalah untuk dikenakan tindakan di tempat kerja.

Perlu tahu membezakan peranan sahabat dan staf di tempat kerja. Dengan cara sebgeitu juga, anda sebenarnya telah membantu sahabat anda untuk maju dan disanjungi serta dihormati staf lain.

Berlapang dadalah dan fahami tanggungjawab serta mengetahui perbezaan antara majikan, dan sahabat.

Pemimpin Tidak Boleh Pilih Bulu

Pemimpin Tidak Boleh Pilih Bulu.

 

Seorang pemimpin tidak boleh memilih bulu, iaitu bersahabat dengan pekerja baik, cemerlang dan mendengar kata sahaja. Sebaliknya ketua yang baik perlu menyantuni semua pekerja termasuk mereka yang mempunyai pelbagai kesalahan atau ‘pendosa’.

Jika diberi pilihan, pastinya semua ketua mahu memilih dan melayani staf yang mendengar kata dan tidak menimbulkan masalah sahaja, namun ia akan memberi imej yang buruk kepada diri anda.

Seharusnya seorang ketua perlu memegang amanah dan tanggungjawab untuk memimpin semua stafnya tanpa mengira sesiapa pun, walaupun tiada siapa yang boleh menghakimi dan memarahi anda dengan siapa ingin bersahabat.

Begitupun sekiranya, anda memilih untuk melayani dan bersahabat dengan staf baik sahaja pastinya ia akan mengeruhkan lagi keadaan di pejabat, syarikat atau tim anda.

Masalah ini perlu dielakkan sekiranya ia berpunca daripada anda seorang ketua sendiri. Justeru, mahu atau tidak sebagai seorang ketua anda perlu bergaul dan bersahabat dengan semua orang tanpa meminggirkan golongan pendosa.

Sungguhpun anda sudah tahu dan mendengar aduan atau gosip di pejabat mengenai staf yang sering melakukan ‘dosa’, anda tidak boleh biarkan perkara itu menjadi tembok untuk bergaul dan berkomunikasi dengan golongan ini.

Sebaliknya, anda tetap perlu mengambil langkah mendekati mereka seperti staf baik yang lain.

Namun, sebagai seorang ketua pastinya sikap kepimpinan anda mahu membetulkan semula staf yang sering ‘bergelumang dosa’ ini.

Sebagai seorang ketua, sekiranya terdapat peningkatan golongan pendosa bagi mengekangnya, boleh diadakan program kaunseling, jati diri dan sebagainya untuk semua staf. Tebrukti dengan program sebegini dapat memberi dorongan kepada staf bermasalah untuk memperbaiki semula tabiat dan gaya hidup mereka.

Malah hubungan harmoni dalam kalangan staf baik dan ‘pendosa’ dapat dipupuk semula. Selain itu sekiranya staf pendosa ini perlu diberikan hukuman, beri secara senyap. Sama ada menghantar melalui emel dan sebagainya tanpa pengetahuan rakan sekerjanya yang lain.

Begitupun, sebagai seorang ketua anda tetap tidak boleh lokek memberi pujian kepada golongan pendosa ini sekiranya mereka melakukan sesuatu yang bermanfaat atau baik untuk syarikat dan sebagainya.

Ketua yang mempunyai ciri-ciri tidak memilih bulu ini akan sentiasa dihormati oleh semua staf, dan menjadi pendorong untuk mereka berubah menjadi lebih baik.
