Joann Weiler, a motivator for youth and early childhood management issue described the campfire as follow;

“Campfires recall our deepest roots as social beings. They inspire the same feelings of warmth, security, and conviviality that our primitive forebears shared around the fire, safe from the dark, cold, lonely, and dangerous world outside its circle of light. Similarly, campfire centers evoke the archetypical park experience. We can relax and enjoy each other’s company in the evening at a campfire center. A colleague calls them the park “family room.”

In many training centers or academies, the campfire is a traditional activity that focuses on accompany each other by sitting and surrounding the fire. The participants keep on sharing stories and embracing others as well as the activity continues to develop stronger bonds with the participants.

Using nature and campfire it attracts for openness in socially engaging

A campfire provides the opportunity especially for the youth to find their spark, uplift their voices and discover their true potentials and inner spirit of who they really are. It is a fun activity that indirectly promotes the least depression and anxiety to life while enhancing better social skills and nurturing meaningful purposes in life.
